CALIFORNIA WAVES 1st tutorial

 
  Od dłuższego czasu dziewczyny pytaja mnie o moje “kalifornijskie fale”, niektórzy są nawet skłonni uwierzyć że są naturalne :) Ha! I o taki efekt mi chodziło!


     Mam zupełnie proste włosy i jak mówi mój fryzjer niezniszczalne :) Zawsze marzyłam o kręconych włosach w “surferskim “ stylu. Zaczęłam się zastanawiać jak uzyskać naturalny efekt fal na moich sztywnych, prostych długich włosach. Tym którzy maja choć trochę podatne włosy na kręcenie wystarczy tylko wgniecenie w końce żelu, pianki  bądź innego produktu który powoduje podobny efekt  i voila :) U mnie niestety tak się nie da. Takie proste włosy trzeba najpierw wystylizować i dopiero zastanawiać się co dalej. Chciałam  uzyskać taki efekt  aby pasma nie były podobne do siebie i wyglądały naturalnie.

Próbowałam wszystkiego: lokówek, falownic itp !!! Po pierwsze włosy zawsze wyglądały jak kręcone nienaturalnie, a po drugie kondycja moich włosów ulegała pogorszeniu końce stawały się suche i łamały się!!!

Pewnego dnia postanowiłam dać kolejną szansę prostownicy. Wiadomo ze jest jeden patent na skręt, który już pewnie każda z was opanowała ale on nie daje takiego efektu. Mam 3 rozmiary prostownic: małą do krótkich włosów, średnią-klasyczną którą większość dziewczyn ma w posiadaniu i moją ulubioną szeroką. Wszystkie są marki ghd (www.ghdhair.com ), która jest dla mnie osobiście jedną z najlepszych profesjonalnych marek na świecie. Niestety nie można dostać jej w Polsce a jej tanie podróby z allegro się nie nadają. Te prostownice naprawde nie niszczą włosów, zamykają ich łuski i nadają im wspaniały połysk.

For some time girls have been asking me about my "California waves", some are even willing to believe that they are natural:) ha! And that's exactly the effect I had in my mind.

My hair is completely straight and, according to my hairdresser, they are waveproof:) But I always dreamt of curly surf-style hair. I began to wonder how to get the natural wave effect on my stiff, straight long hair. For those who have a curly-prone hair it is enough to just put some gel, foam or a product which creates a similar effect in their hair ends and voila:) It is not so simple with me, though. Hair like this needs styling and then the time comes to decide what' s next. I wanted to get an effect of strands which are different from one another and look natural.

I tried everything: curlers, wavers, you name it! And, eventually, number one, hair curls looked unnatural and, number two, my hair became weaker and my hair ends were dry and they started breaking!

One day I decided to give my hair straightener another shot. There is one generally known trick on how to curl hair with a straightener, and probably all of you already know it, but it doesn't create such an effect. I have hair straighteners in 3 sizes: small for short hair, medium - a classic one which many girls own, and my favorite wide one. All of them are ghd straighteners ( www.ghdhair.com ), which is, in my opinion, one of the best professional brands in the world. Unfortunately it is impossible to buy its products in Poland and cheap imitations sold on allegro just won't do. Their straighteners really don't damage the hair, they close hair scales and give them amazing shine.

I decided to show you my California-look hair styling method in a short tutorial:)

1. Freeze & Shine Paul Mitchell

Gives the hair a perfect fix and doesn't stick them so you can put some more of it during the day and they stay shiny. On the next day, when you apply it after brushing, your hair looks amazing again:)

It smells wonderful.

After fixing your hair with freeze and shine you can also put another Paul Mitchell product onto your dry ends which also has an amazing smell...

2. LAKME Sea Water

This product which I' ve recently got to test is amazing, it gives a perfect surf-look effect, it is a little bit more matifying, your hair looks like you've came out of the sea and let it dry in the sun.
